Come and celebrate First Fridays in Old Town Warrenton! Stroll Historic Main Street beginning in May, the First Friday night of each month. The streets around the Warren Green and John Marshall Buildings will be closed to traffic, while Main Street shops remain open late with wine tastings, sales and special events. There will be music, artists, entertainment and dinner specials at our award winning restaurants. Main Street will be bustling with shoppers, diners and fun. Each month will offer something different for all ages. Artists, Artisans, Entertainers come join the fun. Past highlights have included cooking demonstrations, floral demonstrations, sidewalk art for the children, live bands, and many other unique events! A sure bet for the summer fun! This year, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Bluemont; a private, nonprofit corporation that supports music programs in our community. Bluemont presents a wide variety of community events such as school concerts, workshops and assemblies; performances in hospitals and nursing homes; public concerts on the green; oldtime country dances, and special events around the region. These wonderful and affordable events have become part of the fabric of community life especially here in Warrenton, VA.

Come join the Fauquier History Museum at the Old Jail for our annual Ghost Tours of Warrenton. Walk through town with a ghostly guide and learn chilling stories from our town's history. Tour tickets and reservations must be made in advance in order to ensure admittance, because these tours sell out quickly each year. The tours will take place on October 16th, 17th, 23rd & 24th. There will be tours from 7-9PM.

The crown jewel of Christmas is the award winning GumDrop Square and Santa’s Secret Shop where Santa will be on hand for those lists, complimentary photos (one per family) and where all gifts are $2 and will be gift wrapped. Stroll down Main Street on Friday night December 11th and 18th enjoying carolers, orchestras, choirs, merchant open houses, a live nativity, food trolleys with hot cocoa and warm snacks. Festivities begin Friday, December 4th at 6pm with the Christmas Parade, the arrival of Santa, the lighting of the Old Town Christmas tree and the opening of GumDrop Square, a Top 20 event in the Southeast.

Wear your green and walk or run through historic Old Town Warrenton, VA while raising awareness and funds for our beloved wounded warriors. All proceeds will benefit Boulder Crest Retreat, "Healing heroes. One family at a time."
This year's race is limited to 600 participants, so register early. Registration fees: $25 for early registration, $30 after March 1. Registration includes a t-shirt. Race package pickup: March 29 at 7am. Race begins at 8am.
