Come and celebrate First Fridays! Stroll Historic Main Street Warrenton beginning in May, the First Friday night of each month. Main Street will be closed to traffic while shops remain open late with open houses and specials. There will be music, artists, entertainment for the children and dinner specials at our award winning restaurants. Main Street will be bustling with shoppers, diners and fun. Each month will offer something different for all ages. Plein Air Art, come join the fun. Farmer's Market, cooking demonstrations, floral demonstrations, sidewalk art for the children, live bands, the fun is endless! A sure not to miss for the summer! ***If your children would like to join the Illumination Walk on Friday evening 12/2, please gather in front of the Mosby Museum at 5:45pm, located at the corner of Calhoun and Main Streets. Please be careful to leave enough space for the horses and hay wagon for everyone's safety. We will begin the procession to the Old Courthouse at 6pm. Children will be given battery-operated candles to carry on the walk - please return them to the box which will be left near the Courthouse following the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. First Three Weekends in December - starting November 30, 2012

Experience with us the splendor and the tradition of Christmas in Old Town Warrenton. The crown jewel of Christmas is the award winning GumDrop Square and Santa’s Secret Shop where Santa will be on hand for those lists, complimentary photos (one per family) and where all gifts are $2 and will be gift wrapped. Stroll down Main Street on Friday night November 30th and December 7th enjoying carolers, orchestras, choirs, merchant open houses, a live nativity, food trolleys with hot cocoa and fresh roasted chestnuts and horse drawn hayrides. Come and experience Christmas in true Old Town fashion.
Festivities begin Friday, November 30th at 6pm with the Illumination Walk from the Visitors Center to GumDrop Square, the arrival of Santa, the lighting of the Old Town Christmas tree and the opening of GumDrop Square, a Top 20 event in the Southeast.

Enjoy a wonderful day of cars, arts and crafts, music and food at The 16th Annual Father's Day Car Show in Old Town Warrenton. Stroll down Historic Main Street and side streets that will be full of classic and antique cars, hot rods and motorcycles. The lawns will have art exhibits and games for the entire family and new this year - a craft fair will fill the John Barton Payne Building and spill over onto Bank Plaza! Enjoy an ice cream or lunch under a shade tree or lunch and dinner in one of our award winning restaurants. Take a walking tour of Old Town and visit the Old Jail Museum. Historic Old Town Warrenton is the site of the 18th Annual Independence Day Parade for Children and Pets. No motorized vehicles permitted. Decorate the children, bikes, wagons, pets and yourself in red, white and blue and march down Main Street! Uncle Sam welcomes participants. The Fauquier Community Band performs at the Old Courthouse, while Uncle Sam and the Girl Scouts Color Guard lead the line of march of over 800 children and pets! Fire trucks to climb aboard, treats for the pets, and popcicles for the children following the parade.
Parade line up begins at 5:30 pm at 5th Street. The Parade will begin at 6 pm.

23rd Annual Evening Under the Stars
Warrenton, VA- Old Town Warrenton welcomes the 23rd Annual Evening Under the Stars fundraiser for the Partnership for Warrenton Foundation. The fundraiser helps support the annual activities we all enjoy such as the Father’s Day Car Show, the Children’s 4th of July Parade, the nationally recognized GumDrop Square and Christmas in Old Town as well as the lamppost restoration project, Main Street’s American Flags and the economic and aesthetic revitalization of Old Town and much more. The 23rd Annual An Evening Under the Stars boasts tastings from nearly two dozen of the area’s top restaurants and caterers, dancing in the street to live music performed by TBD, a cash bar, a live and a silent auction. The event promises something for everyone. This is the social event of the fall, a true not-to-miss event! Tickets will go on sale August 1st and will be available at The Partnership office and on this website. Tickets are $40 per person in advance, $50 at the door. Tables can be reserved for $400, which includes 8 tickets to the event.
